New Study Released: Are Gay People Really More Promiscuous?
Posted By Eric Ethington (Author) on October 12, 2010
A study done by an online dating service OkCupid measured the sexuality of all 3.2 million users. The study measured the differences between straight and gay people in many different fields including how often they have sex. What did they find? We’re all the same.

Other factors included in the study?
- Do gay people hit on straight people intentionally or frequently?
- Are gay people more or less likely to be intelligent/qualified teachers?
- Gay & Straight personalities

"Eric, trying to have this (civil rights) conversation with you is ultimately like trying to teach a pig to dance, it just annoys the pig. So Eric, sorry to annoy you."
-Paul Mero, The Sutherland Institute.
What a crock: nice try on this one.
It’s so freaking sad that we actually have to show evidence that these stereotypes are stupid.
[...] mixed day indeed. @PrideinUtah also posted a link to an interesting study from OkCupid [...]
Do gay people hit on straight people intentionally or frequently?
I do know that gay people who unintentionally hit on straight people have a high risk of being floored by mormons with epackerbated gay panic. Mormons, feel free to refudiate. k thxbai ^_O
In all seriousness, one of my biggest phobias is accidentally propositioning a straight man. I’d fear for my life.
I might eye a straight man haphazardly but even that’s quite scary. In the military, I often did bathroom business (showering/shaving/urinal troughs) with my eyes closed so I would not attract undue remarks or react unexpectedly. It’s a risky ordeal to turn a corner and see some beefcake with an exposed monster and have one’s jaw drop.
