Vancouver – Lisa Reimer, a music teacher at a Catholic High School was told to start working from home once the school found out that she is in a same-sex relationship.
In December, Ms. Reimer requested Parental Leave from the school because her partner had just given birth to their new baby. The school denied the request, and soon after asked her to start working from home until her contract expires in June.

"Eric, trying to have this (civil rights) conversation with you is ultimately like trying to teach a pig to dance, it just annoys the pig. So Eric, sorry to annoy you."
