Indianapolis, Indiana – Hundreds are protesting today outside the state capitol as the bill creating a constitutional amendment against same sex marriage is preparing to head to the Senate. Gay marriage is already against the law in Indiana, but the legislature wants to enforce that further.

The measure is now scheduled to go before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, where it is expected to pass with a GOP majority. It also has to pass this legislative session, then again in a separately elected legislature. The bill then would move on to a statewide ballot where voters would have the final say in a referendum.

Down with DOMA, down with anti-gay laws, down with marriage discrimination amendments, down with inequality, down with anti-gay hate groups like National Organization for Marriage and Family Research Council, down with officially OKed anti-gay hate and bigotry everywhere in the USA.

Vote every one of the legislators in Indiana, Iowa, etc who supported marriage discrimination amendments out of office come next elections.
